Pursuant to the Regulations on full-time student work of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology issued together with Decision No. 1083/QD-DNT dated September 6, 2022;
Pursuant to the Regulations on assessment of training results of full-time students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology issued together with Decision No. 1174/QD-DNT dated September 15, 2022;
Pursuant to the Regulations on considering and granting scholarships for full-time students studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology issued together with Decision No. 1563/QD-DNT dated October 12, 2023.
In order to comply with regulations, create fairness for students, and at the same time encourage students who have made great efforts in both studying and training, the School announces the consideration, granting of scholarships, and rewards for excellent students and excellent students of the 2024-2025 school year and excellent and excellent graduates, as follows:
1. Subject
All students from 2021 to 2024 studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology under the full-time training form are trained according to the course’s study plan.
2. General criteria for considering annual scholarships and awards
Implement the provisions of Article 26 of the Regulations on Full-time Student Work of Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology issued together with Decision No. 1083/QD-DNT dated September 6, 2022.

3. Conditions for HUFLIT student scholarship for talented and hard-working students
Implement the provisions in Article 6 of the Regulations on considering and granting scholarships for full-time students studying at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology issued together with Decision No. 1563/QD-DNT dated October 12, 2023.

Note: International students are not eligible for HUFLIT talented and hardworking student scholarships.
4. Reward and scholarship levels
+ Students who achieve the title of excellent student of the school year or graduate with overall excellent grades: certificate of merit from the Principal with a bonus of 500,000 VND/student. Students who meet the criteria for receiving scholarships will only receive a certificate of merit and a scholarship.
+ Students who achieve the title of excellent student of the academic year or graduate with overall excellent grades: certificate of merit from the Principal with a bonus of 1,000,000 VND/student. Students who meet the criteria for receiving scholarships will only receive a certificate of merit and a scholarship.
Students who achieve the title of excellent student for the school year or more are eligible for scholarships according to major and course in order from highest to lowest until the number of scholarships allocated in the 2024-2025 school year is exhausted (see appendix).
+ HUFLIT Talented Student Scholarship , a scholarship worth 60% of the tuition fee of the school year for students with the title of excellent student, top of the major, course of the school year 2024 – 2025.
+ HUFLIT Student Effort Scholarship , a scholarship worth 30% of the tuition fee of the school year for students with the title of excellent student, good student in the major, course of the school year 2024 – 2025 (ranked from second onwards).
Note: For majors with a number of students who do not meet the standards for HUFLIT talented student scholarships, the School will not grant HUFLIT talented student scholarships. The School will only grant HUFLIT hard-working student scholarships.
5. Assignment of implementation
- After each semester, relevant departments, faculties and units, if they have handled cases of students violating school regulations, rules and regulations during the semester (including violations of exam regulations), will send the list and minutes of handling of violating students to the Student Affairs Department to update student management records.
- At the end of the school year, the Faculties, based on the above criteria, will review and send the list of proposed awards for excellent students of the school year and the list of proposed scholarships to the Student Affairs Department for synthesis and submission to the Student Awards and Discipline Council for approval.
- After each graduation review, the University Training Department sends the list of students with excellent and good graduation rankings to the Student Affairs Department to synthesize with the students’ entire training scores, the reward criteria, and submit to the Student Reward and Discipline Council for review.
Faculties are requested to fully inform students of the regulations, and relevant units and individuals to coordinate and strictly implement this notice./.
